Our accidents and actions, our misses and mistakes and malice, have created a huge debt in our name as we’ve racked up a bill of harm: everything our sin has cost others. This debt far exceeds our ability to repay, and it shackles us to our past. ---except that Christ has secured our forgiveness, paid our debts, wiped the slate clean, and set us right.
