Last week, we were reminded that living free means being immersed in Christ’s reality of forgiveness, both as those who are forgiven and as those who forgive. Most Christians readily affirm the theological truth of God's forgiveness. Yet, despite this knowledge, many of us carry the weight of our transgressions on our consciences day after day. Is this inevitable? Is this just part of being human? Or could we truly live boldly in this world with a clean conscience, no matter the record against us? Praise the Lord for the assurances in His Word: Yes, we can.
