To My Friends: God’s Will for You

“Is it God’s will?” We ache to know the answer. You find yourself at a crossroads, needing to make an important life decision, and you just wish God would make it crystal clear what the next step is supposed to be. You long to know God’s will for your life. Other times, though, you’d like to bury your head in the sand of ignorance and pretend you didn’t hear a thing. “God, You want me to do what??” I’ve known moments when God’s will has felt too hard / too painful / too scary / too humbling / too impossible. This week we’ll explore in 1 Thessalonians what God tells us about his will---and it’s good news!
