Welcome
We're glad you're considering a visit, and this page is for you: when we meet, where to park, what to do with your kids, what to wear, what we'll ask of you (mostly: nothing).
The short version — we're Adventist Christians who gather Saturday mornings in Happy Valley. Two services, room for kids of every age, easy parking, no offering plate to dodge. Come as you are.

Why Saturday?
The shortest answer is that we keep the seventh-day Sabbath as a weekly invitation to rest, worship, and rejoice in God's care. It's the day God blessed at creation and the day Jesus honored as "Lord of the Sabbath." We think of it less as a rule we're keeping and more as a gift we're unwrapping every week.
What To Expect
Finding Us
We're at 11125 SE 172nd Ave, about a mile south of Foster Rd and about a mile north of Sunnyside Rd.
There's plenty of parking, with a few visitor spaces marked on the right side of the lot as you pull in. The main entrance is just a few steps away — it's the set of glass doors on the north side, under the portico: that's the entrance you want.

When You Walk In
A couple of greeters will be at the door to welcome you. Just inside is our hospitality lobby, where you'll often find hot coffee, cold drinks, and a snack. We don't print paper bulletins anymore — everything you need is on the website or in our app.
You won't be asked to stand up, wave, or be pointed out from the front. We do try to notice when someone new is among us, and someone will probably introduce themselves before or after the service.

What Worship is Like
Gathered Worship goes for about 75 minutes, with a mix of contemporary and traditional songs led by our worship team, with some folks standing and some folks sitting. We read Scripture aloud, we pray, we listen, we respond. (You can check out the Order of Service for more specifics.)
Dress runs the full range, from jeans to suits. Sacred doesn't mean formal or fancy, and no one will be out of place at either end.

For Your Kids
All ages — from infants to teenagers — are welcome in the worship service alongside their families. For caregivers with infants, there's a small parents' room off the sanctuary.
During the 10:30 hour between services, we run age-specific classes:
Beginners — birth through age 3
Primary — age 4 through grade 4
Middle School — grades 5 through 8
Youth — grades 9 through 12
