1) In Person: In-person donations are accepted each Sabbath in December. The last day to give in person for 2025 is December 27.
2) Online: You can make on-line contributions before midnight, EST (9:00 pm PST) on 12/31/2025 through PVC’s website at pvclife.com.
3) US Mail Contributions postmarked by 12/31/2025 will also count towards the 2025 tax year.
NOTE: We now have a locked mailbox, so you may safely leave contributions in the mailbox while the office is closed. Thank you for your faithful giving throughout the year! 

Super Seniors are invited to our next gathering on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon in our fellowship room at PVC. We’ll enjoy a delicious meal together and a live cooking demonstration featuring simple and tasty ways to incorporate more plant foods into your winter meals. Our theme is “Plant-Forward into 2026”—focusing on nourishment, warmth, and health for the year ahead. Come for the food, the learning, and the fellowship. All Super Seniors are welcome—bring a friend and join us!!

To anyone who is looking for an opportunity to learn the art of fly tying or hone your skills to a sharper point, PVC is hosting Dave Passarge a master fly tier. Dave will bring some tools and materials but if you have some of your own tools and supplies, please bring them along. He will be showing us how to tie a couple of flies and is willing to help those that have something they are interested in. If you have questions, you can call Mark Kooy at 503/860-8245. Betty Jean Reiswig has passed away. Betty Jean was a charter member of PVC, and stayed in touch with many friends here. Information about a memorial service will be provided as soon as it is available.

Pick up a “blue bag” from the labeled container in the coat closet off the foyer. Fill with your recycle donations, then drop them off at any Bottledrop location. The bags are tagged with a QR code that will automatically open the drop off door and credit our Pathfinder account with your donations.

Faith was never meant to be a solo journey, and every single one of us needs an earthly friend as a companion in the light.  Consider joining or starting a "micro-group": a group of 2-4 people living in the light together, practicing reading Scripture, prayer, and honesty, and meeting once a week.

Are you looking for more support in your journey to living free? Maybe you're working through the process of reckoning and release that we've been talking about in our Unburdened series and the Releasing Bitterness seminar. Perhaps you've lost a loved one through death or divorce, and you'd like support in your journey. Or maybe you've been wrestling with an unhealthy dependency upon substances or other destructive behaviors. Did you know that PVC has a weekly 12-step recovery group meeting called Journey to Wholeness?

 Journey to Wholeness is a support system for people of any faith (or lack thereof) who are struggling with things that are hurting them or the people they love. It presents a 12-step model for understanding God and ourselves as God’s creation.

Come on Thursday nights at 7:00 PM and you'll find a safe and anonymous group of individuals who are committed to health, healing, sanity, and serenity. We hope you'll join us on the Journey to Wholeness!

We would like to thank PVC members and friends who have generously donated 52 pairs of old glasses for our Global Eyeglasses Ministry Support (GEMS) project!  These glasses will be soon matched with those with those who desperately need them in Africa and Asia.

Our Project continues so “that those who do not see may see…” John‬ ‭9‬:‭39‬ ‭ESV‬‬.  A donation box is at the front reception table.

We have a church subscription to Dwell Audio Bible, a mobile-based app for your phone or tablet that lets you listen to Scripture in a variety of translation with a rich list of features, like themed playlists, kids’ devotionals, reading plans, memorize mode, and reflection options. If you join our membership, you’ll have access to all of the subscription features for the next year, and we encourage all of our PVC Fam to take this opportunity to make Scripture a part of daily life.

Christmas Eve in the Valley is just around the corner—our beautiful, candlelit service on December 24 at 4:00 pm, full of hymns, scripture, music, reflection, hot cocoa, and twinkling Christmas trees. It's such a meaningful way to celebrate the birth of Jesus together—but we can't make it happen without you!

If you're willing to lend a hand with things like setup, decorating, hospitality, reading scripture, participating in music, or teardown, we'd love your help. Whether you love being up front or just willing to jump in with a servant's heart in background, there’s a place for you.
