ADVENTIST HEALTH PORTLAND – 1st Friday
April 4 starting with dinner @ 6pm, program at 7:15 pm • AHP Lower-level Amphitheaters
You are invited to a free night of worship, praise, and fellowship on Friday 4/4 at AHP. This month's guest speaker is Jesus Vera, an International Speaker and Hospital Chaplain. Jesus recognizes that pain and trauma prevent people from accepting that they are worthy of love and born to be great. Jesus understands that a lot can stand between someone and their greatness and his goal is to be a voice of change in people’s lives. He is also a firm believer in serving your community and for him, sharing his story and the pain points he encountered is just one way of doing that.
Join us for this FREE event and invite your friends and family members. Register for dinner by Wednesday, April 2. Learn more and/or register for dinner at adventisthealthfirstfriday.com

HVAS NOTIFICATION
REGARDING RE-ALLOCATION OF HVAS AUCTION FUNDS
The annual Hood View Adventist School Auction is scheduled for Sunday, April 27, 2025. The school board recently voted that funds raised this year will be used for playground improvements with any excess funds above what is needed for that project to be used for other campus improvements.
In 2020, the auction funds were designated for the addition of a natural playground. Although almost $40,000 was raised for this project, when quotes were received for the work, the cost far exceeded the funds available. The school board recently voted to re-appropriate the 2020 Auction funds in their entirety to be used for playground features and/or improvements. These funds would be added to any funds raised this year to go toward upgrades of existing playground features or adding additional features to the playground.
The school is required to share information regarding this reallocation of funds with constituent churches and the parents of students enrolled at the school for four weeks before finalizing this decision. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school office at 503/663-4568.
