We are delighted to introduce Keren Arteaga as the featured speaker for PVC’s upcoming series titled In the Present Tense. She will be speaking every night from 7:00–8:15 PM, October 22-29. This series is designed to fit your busy schedules, with a free soup supper every night beginning at 6:15 PM. Come straight from school or work, and we’ll be finished on time. Bring the whole family, too! There is an amazing program created especially for kids (ages 4-10) called Walk in His Ways. Free childcare is available for toddlers (ages 1-3).
Keren Arteaga is a powerful and dynamic speaker! Born and raised in Southern California, Keren is a gifted worship leader, a La Sierra University graduate with degrees in psychology and music, and a marathoner. She is married to Pastor Manny Arteaga and is the mother of their two beautiful daughters, Sophia and Karissa. Most importantly, she is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ!
Keren has chosen to title this series In the Present Tense. Each night, she will be presenting a present-tense word for Jesus as we examine together His “I AM” statements from scripture. The Bible speaks of God as the One who was, is, and is to come. But Jesus didn’t say, “I was.” He says, “I AM!” He speaks to us in the present tense.
Keren is no stranger to PVC. Her husband, Manny Arteaga, spoke last year for our fall series. The first time we met Keren, it was a pretty special moment – and a HUGE surprise for Manny! Check out the video below.
It will be a privilege for us to welcome Keren and her precious family back to Pleasant Valley! Please make plans to attend every night, and be praying for God to reveal Himself to you – In the Present Tense.
